This was my 6th E3 and covering and writing about the event normally involves a ton of work over many days. This year I approached it in a much more casual manner, basically just to have some fun. I took very few notes and far less pictures. Thing is with the new
baron,
stripped down format there really isn't much to photograph, and a lot of the devs restrict photography in their suites. So I will not be posting any mammoth thread like I have done the last few years. I will do my best to answer any questions you may have about the games I saw.

As you know the coverage this year from the online gaming media (IGN, Gamespot, Gametrailers, 1up, etc.) and G4TV is unprecedented. They all had there own studios at the event with an endless parade of devs showing their games so I am not sure if I can shed any more insight other than my own biased opinion.

Just one thing about me, other than seeing and playing the games the thing that keeps me coming back to E3 is the opportunity to meet with the game developers. I really dig being able to talk with them one on one, asking them various questions and flexing some of my gameing muscle. Also when I can, I like to give them suggestions (usually online related) and some grief too as to why they don't do such and such (also usually online related).

The floor of E3 has shrunken to a mere shadow of its former self with only the major players participating and all having to occupy identical, faceless floor space.
